How do tiers work?
You set thresholds in ascending order and a perk for each one. Tiers are usually counted in visits (simple, fair to everyone) or in amount spent (rewards bigger baskets). Unlike a stamp card, a tier is not used up: the customer keeps the level and its perk.
Good perks cost little and feel personal: a priority order, a monthly treat, a small permanent discount, first taste of a new product.
Why does it matter for a shop?
A small share of customers usually makes up a large part of a shop’s sales. Tiers make those regulars visible to you and give them a status worth keeping, which a plain stamp card doesn’t.
How does Fidelia handle it?
With Pro, any card type can have up to 3 VIP levels, counted by visits, or by spend on points, cashback and prepaid cards. The level shows on the customer’s Wallet card; reaching a new one triggers a notification and a “New level” screen on the scanner so staff can congratulate the customer. Levels and perks are listed on the back of the card.
