What does a location reminder do?
It gives your card a chance to show up at the best moment: when the customer is a few steps from your door. You don’t send anything and you don’t pay per reminder; once your addresses are on the card, the wallet on the customer’s phone does the rest, in its own way.
How does it work on an iPhone?
- You add your shop’s address in Locations, found with Google Maps search, and write a short lock-screen line (up to 60 characters), for example “Fresh cinnamon buns until 11:00 🥐”. The AI assistant can suggest three lines.
- Fidelia adds the address to every card of your shop in Apple Wallet, with your line, in each of your country’s languages.
- When a customer with your card is within about 100 m, iOS can show your card on their lock screen with your line. One tap opens the card, ready to scan.
iOS decides exactly when to show it. It is a suggestion on the lock screen, not a notification with a sound.
How does it work on Android?
- The same addresses are added to every card in Google Wallet (up to 10).
- When a customer is inside a radius that Google sets, Google Wallet can send a notification for your card.
Google doesn’t let anyone choose the radius or the text of that notification: it shows its own standard message. Your custom line is used on iPhone only.
What do customers need to do?
Nothing. There is no extra permission to grant in Fidelia: the reminder uses the wallet’s own location features, which the customer controls in their phone settings. Fidelia never sees where your customers are.

When your plan changes between Pro and Essential, every card of your shop is refreshed: the reminders appear or disappear on their own. Your addresses stay on the back of the card on every plan.
Which plan includes it?
Location reminders are part of Pro (599 kr a month excl. VAT, 14-day free trial). Each extra address costs 199 kr a month on any plan.
