Every card in Fidelia has one type. The type decides how customers earn and how staff work with the card at the counter. Staff always start by scanning the customer’s card.
Which card types are there?
| Type | How it works | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Stamp card | A stamp per visit, a reward when the card is full. | Essential |
| Points | Points on what customers spend, with rewards to choose from. | Pro |
| Cashback | A percentage back as credit for the next visit. | Pro |
| Membership | A members card with a fixed perk, like a percentage off. | Pro |
| Prepaid | Customers top up and pay with the card. | Pro |
| Prepaid pack | Customers pay up front for several items; staff take one off per visit. | Pro |
Prepaid balances can fall under gift-card or e-money rules, because you keep the money customers top up. Check with your accountant before offering them.
How do I choose the type?
- Open Card in the dashboard menu and start a new card. The designer asks What kind of card do you want to create?
- Pick a type and press Continue with that type.
- Set the rules in the Reward step, which now reads How does the card work?
- To switch later, press Change next to the type, then Use this type.
How do I run several cards at once?
- Open Card and press New card.
- Give it a name customers will recognise, such as “Lunch card”. It starts with the look of your current card.
- Press Create and design, set its type, reward and look, then publish. It stays a draft until you do.
- Use Manage cards to rename, archive or delete a card, and the card switcher at the top to move between them.
Essential includes one card. With Pro you can run a stamp card and a VIP card side by side. You can also add VIP levels to any card type.
Which card does my QR code open?
On the stand kit, the QR code opens menu lets you pick one card, or All cards (customers choose).
The same choice appears when you send messages: you can write to the holders of one card or of every card.
