VIP levels: reward your best regulars a little more

VIP levels add up to three tiers on top of any Fidelia card, such as Silver, Gold and Platinum. Customers move up by visits or by amount spent, see their level on the Wallet card and get a notification when they reach a new one.

What are VIP levels?

They are tiers that recognise your most loyal customers. You name each level, choose when it is reached and what it brings (a perk, a discount, a gesture), and Fidelia keeps track automatically. The level is shown on the customer’s card, so they know where they stand and what the next step is.

VIP levels work on top of every card type: a stamp card, points, cashback, prepaid or membership.

How do customers reach a level?

  1. You set up to 3 levels in the card designer (step 4, Extras), each with a name, a threshold and a perk. Example: Silver at 10 visits, Gold at 25, Platinum at 50.
  2. Every visit counts, or, for points, cashback and prepaid cards, every euro spent if you prefer.
  3. When a customer passes a threshold, their card shows the new level and they get a notification on their phone.
  4. The levels and their perks are listed on the back of the card, so customers can read what comes next.

What does your team see at the counter?

When a scan moves a customer up, the scanner shows a gold New level screen with the level’s name. That is the moment to say congratulations and hand over the perk. On other visits, the level is visible on the customer’s card, so your team can greet a Platinum regular accordingly.

What are the limits?

Levels per card Up to 3, in ascending order
Counted by Visits (any card type) or spend (points, cashback, prepaid)
Notification Once per new level; never on a manager’s correction
Texts Level names and perks typed once in your main language, translatable in the designer

Which plan includes it?

VIP levels are part of Pro (€59 a month excl. VAT), with a 14-day free trial. If you later move back to Essential, live cards keep their levels and customers keep their status.

Examples by trade

Example set-ups, not customer stories:

  • Hairdresser: Regular at 5 visits (free hair mask), VIP at 12 visits (priority on Saturday slots).
  • Beauty salon: points card counted by spend, Gold from 500 € spent with 10 % off products.

Questions

How many VIP levels can I create?

Up to three per card, each with a higher threshold than the one before. Most shops start with two.

Are levels counted by visits or by spend?

By visits on any card type. On points, cashback and prepaid cards you can count by amount spent instead.

Does a customer go down a level?

Levels follow the customer's total visits or spend on the card, which only grows with normal use. A manager's correction can change the total, but no notification is sent for it.

Can I set up VIP levels on Essential?

You can set them up and preview them on any plan. Publishing a card with VIP levels asks for Pro (€59 a month excl. VAT, 14-day free trial).
