The cooldown is a pause between two stamps on one card. It stops a card being stamped twice in the same visit by accident, and it makes abuse harder. Other cards are not affected: you can scan the next customer at once.
What does Already stamped mean?
The scanner shows Already stamped with a line like “Next stamp on this card possible in 4 min”. Wait that long, then scan again. No stamp is lost: the first one is on the card.
Can I change the cooldown?
Yes, as owner or manager:
- Open Card in the dashboard and open your card in the designer.
- Go to the Extras step.
- Move the Time between two stamps slider. The hint reads: “Prevents double stamping on the same visit.”
- Check it in the Publish step, where the review lists it, and publish.
What do the other messages mean?

| Another shop’s card | The card belongs to a different merchant. |
| Code not recognised | Scan the QR code on the customer’s card. |
| This card was deleted | The customer’s data was erased. They can sign up again with the QR stand. |
| Loyalty card paused | The card isn’t published. Publish it in the dashboard. |
| Scanning paused | The subscription ended. Ask the owner to renew it. |
| No connection | Check Wi-Fi or mobile data, then scan again. |
| Session expired | Log in again. |
| No access | Your account can’t stamp cards for this shop. |
Stamped twice by mistake?
