A push message is a short notification from your customer’s loyalty card, for example “Double stamps this weekend”. It lands on the lock screen without any app being installed.
How do I send one?
- Open Messages in the dashboard. Only owners and managers see it.
- Write a Title and a Message. The preview on the right shows how it looks in Wallet.
- Under Who gets it, choose All customers, Reward waiting or Not seen in 30 days. The number of customers reached is shown next to each.
- Under When, choose Now, or Later and set the Date and time.
- Optionally set Show until: after that day the message leaves the card.
- Press Send now (or Schedule), then confirm with Send to … customers.
Sent and scheduled messages are listed under Sent and scheduled. A scheduled message can be cancelled there.
Who receives it?
Only customers who agreed to news and offers when they joined, and who still have the card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. A customer who removed the card cannot be reached.
If your shop has several cards, you can address the holders of one card.
Languages
Write the message in your shop’s main language. Other languages are optional; customers without one get the main-language text.
Limits to know
- There is a daily limit on messages per shop, to prevent accidents. The page tells you when you have reached it.
- Google Wallet only alerts a card a few times a day. Beyond that, the message still shows on the card, silently. Before sending, Fidelia tells you how many customers will get a notification.
- Customers can switch off notifications for a card.
