Receipt numbers

Send your receipt number as receipt_ref on every action of a receipt (sale, redeem, balance spend…). It must be unique per shop: if your numbering restarts per till, prefix it (T1-000042). 1 to 64 printable characters, no spaces.

Reversing a receipt

Everything the receipt did on Fidelia cards is undone: stamps, points and cashback earned, balance spent (given back), rewards used (available again), pack items used. The answer lists the updated cards.

Answer	Meaning
`200`	Done (`reversed_actions` counts what was undone).
`404 receipt_not_found`	No card action of this shop has this receipt number: nothing to do.
`409 already_reversed`	Done earlier.
`409 reverse_window_expired`	Older than 24 hours: the shop corrects the card in its Fidelia dashboard.
`409 reverse_conflict`	The card moved on: the earned points or credit were spent since, or the reward was claimed. The shop corrects it in its dashboard.

Partial refunds: reverse the whole receipt, then send a new sale with a new receipt_ref for what the customer keeps.

What did a receipt do?

Every ledger row of the receipt (stamp, earn, spend, redeem, undo …) with the card number, amounts, the till’s name and whether it was reversed. Useful for reconciliation and support.
